Internally - Supplemental Facts

Last, is internal use.

When you take an essential oil internally (and this is specific to dōTERRA essential oils ONLY - I repeat dōTERRA oils only!) They enter the bloodstream via the gastrointestinal tract and are then transported throughout the rest of the body. All of the organs in the body including the brain will be reached. Pretty incredible, right❓❗

The most common way oils are taken internally is when they are added to water, smoothies, tea, or other drinks. Another option is to put the oil directly under the tongue. If you prefer to take the oil in a veggie capsule that is also another option. I like to use veggie capsules if I am ingesting a few oils at a time or if there is one that I do not prefer the taste of.

👉 Safety tip: When ingesting oils we always want to follow label recommendations (if the bottle is labeled with a “Supplement Fact” is recommended for internal use).

Did you know that you can cook with your essential oils? Oils are much more potent than dried or fresh herbs and spices so use sparingly.

Have you cooked with oils before❓ What did you make❓An essential oil bottle in a dish with vege capsules, showing the supplemental information on the label.
