Davana Uses and Benefits

I received some free oils as a prize recently, one of which is Davana Touch. It's not an oil I know much about so decided to do some research & this is what I found...

Davana is an aromatic herb from southern India. The plant is cultivated for its fragrant leaves and flowers, which are used in floral arrangements, religious offerings, and to produce an utterly unique essential oil. The resulting essential oil has a sweet, warm scent that is exotic, sensual, and intriguing. On its own, the oil provides a pleasant, herbaceous aroma with plum and raisin notes and a hint of wood. Once applied to the skin, the scent becomes beautifully adaptive, combining with every individual’s own chemistry for a personal fragrance that is completely unique to the wearer. doTERRA Touch Davana presents this essential oil in a base of Fractionated Coconut Oil to bring the aromatic benefits while being hydrating to the skin and helping to maintain the skin’s natural barrier.
